Realtors Code of Ethics

The 17 articles of the Code of Ethics represent a promise of performance and professionalism by all who become REALTORS®.  As a result the term REALTOR® has come to connote competency, fairness and high integrity.  Enforcement of the Code supports the REALTORS®‘ commitment to protecting the public and preserving a competitive marketplace.

The Staten Island Board of REALTORS® provides its members and consumers a process to resolve issues of potentially unethical conduct. Claims of unethical conduct may be resolved through a full due process hearing conducted in accordance with nationally accepted guidelines. Use the links below to learn more about the REALTORS®’commitment to honorable, faithful, and competent service to clients, customers, and other members of the public.
